Brittani is a Licensed Resident Counselor in the Commonwealth of Virginia. She received a Bachelor’s in Crisis Counseling and her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. She is currently pursuing licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor.
Brittani has worked with a variety of populations including adults, children, and adolescents in foster care, outpatient services, and community-based services. She has experience working with different mental and behavioral needs such as anxiety, depression, trauma, aggression, ADHD, and divorce. She uses a variety of clinical approaches in her practice, as there is not a one approach that fits all. She believes in collaborating with the client and identifying the best treatment approach to fit the need of their treatment goals. She uses approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, eye movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR), behavior modification, and DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) and play therapy techniques.
Brittani has a passion to meet clients where they are and walk alongside them during their journey to healing.
She enjoys traveling with her husband with a good, iced coffee in hand!
