Brittany Dalton holds a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling. She became licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia in 2019. She has 10 years of experience in the mental health field and has worked with clients concerning a variety of issues, including grief and loss, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, relational conflicts, spiritual issues, identity issues, adjustment, family issues, attachment trauma, and issues of self-worth. Brittany is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Narrative Therapy, as well as concepts from Attachment Theory, Internal Family Systems, and Psychodynamic Theory.
Her passion and desire is to sit well with others who are hurting by helping them feel seen, understood, known, and cared for within the therapeutic relationship as they pursue healing and growth together. While Brittany lives based on the principles of Christian faith, she is equipped to work with clients from various spiritual backgrounds and incorporate spirituality as requested by the client.
Brittany enjoys spending time with friends, traveling, music, reading, being outdoors, and a good cup of coffee.
